Elements in Art
Ancient people believed that the
universe was made from earth,
wind, fire, and water. Through
experimentation, humans learned
how to control these elements to
improve their lives. Art is comprised of a few basic elements such as line, shape, texture, and color. The Elements in Art section of this CD gives you the opportunity to explore how some of these visual elements are used to create works of art.
